Between multiple Android devices, you can not only transfer and share pictures, sounds, videos, and other files with each other but also share installed applications on the devices with each other. Maybe you think that to implement this process, you must first root the device (that is, obtain super administrator user rights). There is no need for such a complicated operation, you can only use the third-party transfer program in the Google Play Store to achieve this process.
Install Apk Extractor
Open Google Play Store. Click on the Google Play Store icon on your phone or tablet.
Search for the app named “APK Extractor”. This is a small data transfer program that users can download for free. When you find it click on it to download.
Install the app. Click the “Install” button to download and install the APK Extractor.
Share Your App
Open APK Extractor. After installing a program, click the application’s shortcut button on the screen to open the program. Once opened, you can see that it lists all installed and open programs on your device.
Select the app you want to share. Press and hold the program’s icon and wait for the shortcut menu to appear.
Select the “Send APK” option from the menu.
- The APK Extractor program does exactly what its name suggests. It converts, extracts, and compresses programs into installable APK files. Users can then share the application by sharing and transferring this APK file with each other.
Select the “Bluetooth” option from the list of sharing options.
Turn on Bluetooth. If the device’s Bluetooth is turned off, the program will ask you to turn Bluetooth on. Click “Turn on” to turn on the device’s Bluetooth.
- Perform the same operations as above on the Android device receiving the program.
- The sending Android device will scan for all available Bluetooth devices nearby, wait a few minutes until you see the receiving device appear in the list.
Wait for the receiving device to agree to the Bluetooth transmission. When the transfer between devices is complete, open the APK file to install the app.
Tips
- If you want to use this method to share paid apps, I’m afraid this will disappoint you. The program will prompt you that this method is not suitable for sharing and transferring paid applications.
- Only activated apps can share. APK Extractor will not be able to detect an app if it is closed or set to inactive.
- The time for transferring files mainly depends on the size of the APK file, as well as technical parameters such as the Bluetooth model specifications on the device.
